The Academic Skills Center provides free tutoring to all University of Nevada, Reno students. Our friendly staff and knowledgable tutors will help you to realize your full potential as a student.

  Small group tutoring is available free for most 100 and 200 level courses. Sessions meet twice a week from the third week of class to last full week of classes.

Walk-in labs are available for math, physics, chemistry, biology, foreign languages, and the humanities. Students may go to the lab during scheduled hours for assistance with course work. Before attending a walk-in lab please check the walk-in hours which include hours available and courses tutored.

 8am - 5pm Friday

Other free resources on campus include: additional help in math at the math center, which is located on the sixth floor of the Anasari Business Building and editing help at the writing center , which is located in Cain Hall.
